The Teen Vogue Hand Book

Went shopping for books last weekend, and bought in this book called The Teen Vogue Hand Book: An Insider's Guide to Careers in Fashion. Teen Vogue is absolutely my favourite fashion magazines which I always get deeply inspired while flipping through the pages. This book includes all sorts of "behind-the-scenes" secrets and tips from aspiring designers, stylists, editors and photographers about industry stars and anything fashion-related. Just can't wait to finish reading the whole book!

T by Alexander Wang Tencel Spandex Sweatpants

Have been looking for what to wear on plane or for traveling lately even though my upcoming trip still remains two months apart, it just makes me happy by only thinking about anything vacation-related! After few weeks of researching and browsing, I've came up with a must-have item, sweatpants. I prefer slim and slouchy-looking ones(to match up the relaxing holiday mood), and for the material and texture, would have to be soft and light-weighed for such warm weather. This pair of sweatpants from T by Alexander Wang featured in the Spring/Summer collection 2010 contains all the above qualities mentioned!(except for the price setting)haha.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Special Items "Paisley Umbrella"

Summer, the rainy season in hk, in which an appealing umbrella is certainly a necessity. Have been checking out the Marc by Marc Jacobs Special Items line and discovered this contractible umbrella with various flattering prints, and what attracted me most would be the economical retail price(USD$18)! It has been raining quite often these days, and I definitely and desperately need one as all those I owned are either broken or lost. Unfortunately, I simply got no access to buy it as there isn't any mbmj store that contains this line nearby. (alright..I'll take it as an opportunity to save up then.....)

Steve Madden Manque Oxford Shoes

At the moment I saw this pair of shoes by Steve Madden was an instant infatuation! I think I've been really obsessed with oxford shoes lately. Steve Madden is always being asserted as duplicating high-end labels, it might sound negative but taking another point of view, it's definitely a piece of good news for people like me that lacks financial supports! Loving the man-tailored design of the shoes with a touch of femininity by adding the lace and the ruffly borders. I'm still thinking about it.......because.... it'd be my fourth pairs...

The Chanel Cassette Clutch

Chanel definitely leaves the classiest remarks in the history of fashion, or maybe Karl Lagerfield's intelligence in fashion is just irreplaceable. And this time, the design brought us back to the 80's, where cassette tape were widely used. People might thought the transparent design is weird or even crazy, but I'd say at least this product have grabbed people's attentions! And would you accept a translucent clutch that shows everything you put inside?

Urban Outfitters Online shopping

More of a personal sharing this time,picture showing is the parcel ordered from Urban Outfitters earlier and have finally come in hand! Utterly impressed with the quality and the accuracy of the clothings, bought in cardigans, tanks, plaid shirt and the pair of oxford shoes I previously mentioned with decent prices (great bargains compared to those selling in store!). I'm just too thrilled to try them on which made it end up a mess like the picture above. Happy shopping and I would definitely shop with them again!

Despite this is a collection technically released a year ago already, I still have to share them as I adore every single pieces from this collection! Loving from the long blue silk sarong to the straw hats decorated with tropical fabric flowers, each set comes along with the sleek and feminine design which I'm totally in love with, brought me whole lot of surprises while flipping through this collection catalog! A series of Resort runways are held these days, and DKNY is one of them. This collection is a mix of easy, tailored classics, more like cocktail-party wear featuring various glamourous dresses in black,red and gold. Demonstrating DKNY signature styles: chic, stylish and easy to wear!

Forever 21 new promo with the theme of Activewear. This promo comes at the perfect timing as it reminds me it is time to work out and get ready for summer!

Uniqlo Velvet Collection Summer 2010

Uniqlo is absolutely one of my favourite stores offering quality garments with fairly reasonable prices. On June 17, Uniqlo will launch its latest designer collaboration with Velvet, and four separate mini collections will be released throughout the year. The collection will be a combination of jersey and cashmere styles, containing basics like cropped harem pants, cut-out tee shirt dresses,and racer-back tank dresses. The color tones will be my favourite which is stick to the neutral tones like light grey, with a few lavender and pastel pink pieces. Just can't wait for more pictures to be released!

H&M Floral Leggings

Getting tired and bored of leggings in black or heather grey? Recently purchased this pair of floral leggings in H&M as alternative. Mostly its subtle floral prints attracted me, as well as its dark undertone! (as I find it rare to find any floral pieces without vivid colors)

Too much shopping this month, but fortunately it's already June next week! (counting down....!)

Celeb Style: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson was spotted at LAX airport,looking as stylish as ever! Dressing in a nautical striped top, oversized blazer, light washed skinny jeans and black suede boots, demonstrating a Hollywood-trendsetter look, and gave me inspirations as always(mostly because of her petite body frame haha). And the highlight of this outfit I'd say is her caramel leather backpack! I desperately want one!

To me, jewelry are essential to complete an outfit. Enjoy shopping all sorts of jewelries, which now result in accumulated in numbers. Necklaces hanging, bangles going everywhere on the tables should now need a tidy place to keep them organize! Spotted these two unique-designed jewelry stands on Urban Outfitters Apartment section! I totally need one now!

Kate Moss Topshop Summer 2010 Campaign

Another Kate Moss collaboration of with Topshop has launched! Showing similarities with her previous collections, greatly inspired by vintage which you may find a lot of body con dresses, shorts, bohemian cuts. However, model seems can go no wrong, but another appealing collection that lure everyone (once again). Loving the softness in the photo shoots, revealing the feminine side of Kate Moss! H&M Fashion Against AIDS 2010 collection

H&M's 3rd Fashion Against AIDS campaign is officially launched! H&M is taking more fashion pieces rather than having celebrities endorse in T-shirts designs last year. 25% of the sales will be donated to youth AIDS/HIV awareness projects, which has become another reason (or excuse) for me to shop for them! Loving the entire collection, particularly the denim pieces and biker jackets! Can't wait to hurry to any H&M stores right now while stock still lasts!

I know, I know. I know this is already the second time mentioning Blake Lively, but I'm adoring her look on the finale of Gossip Girl Season 3 so much that I just have to share it here! Dressing in a Yigal Azrouel strapless dress, which has already look completely stunning on its own, matching up with a Carla Reiter statment necklace definitely adds extra glow and sparkles on her. Who else could look more chic yet glamourous while flipping through the magazine on the bed than Serena van der Woodsen?

And for the question left in the previous entry, I'd say: Nope! I failed.

But it's a content failure with happiness.

Markdowns is always a good marketing strategy to sell away the product quicker, since it made people more eager to get the product as soon as possible, as if it might be gone by the next minute. This cute crossbody bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs is currently on sale! Loving the vintage design on the metal logo plate, and the rich, light textured leather makes the bag appears to be more durable and ideal for causal chill outs in summer! So would I be able to resist this temptation? I'll let you know by tomorrow!haha.

Alexander Wang S/S 10 Runway

The fashion designer that has always been the top of my favourite list- Alexander Wang! His designs are always completed with the strong edgy, street quantities with its own character. And in the collection of S/S 10, filled with denim and khaki, creating all the timeless, classic pieces in its signature urban way. Maybe I am not a huge fan for the theme in this runway- football, yet I am very pleased with the colour tone, variety of fabrics used throughout the whole collection.

The coral ruffled strapless dress creates an ultra radiant on her healthy tan complexion, pairing up with a pair of peachy sandals and golden earrings, everything simply makes up a perfect combination for an effortless yet sassy summertime look! I'm loving it!

Fidelity Denim Fall '10 Lookbook

Introducing my recent infatuation- denim clothings. In the look book of Fidelity Denim fall 2010 came along with the sub-title, "when retro-meets-modern girl". The creative concept and the pictures created the effects of amusing and dynamic, meanwhile, the creative concept of the look book projected an idea of denims are currently fun to play with! I love how the designers put the denims from the vintage look into a modern fit. Inspired by this look book, all the buttons down jackets, denim shirts, denim vests seem to be a great alternative idea to toughen up the florals, ruffles and all sorts of girly wearing!

Deena & Ozzy Ludlow Oxford

Have been looking for a good pair of summer shoes for quite a while, and probably sandals is the best choice but I'm just kinda shy with my toes (blushed). And oxford shoes, would be more likely to be my first choice for this summer. Found this lovely pair of Oxford lace-up shoes from Deena & Ozzy (available in Urban Outfitters), adoring the sweet floral pattern on it! I believe it'll be great to match up with my plain-coloured clothings i often wear!

Topshop Make up Collection

The two cosmetics lines recently launched by Topshop, the Core collection and Seasonal Trend collection is finally accessible online as well! Back in few days ago, almost all items are sold out and they're finally back in stock. Even though the qualities of the products are still uncertain, but the pencil-like doodles and the cartoon features packaging is already attractive enough to win my hype. With the price ranges from $8USD to $20USD, seems like it worths a try!
